November 2011

Hausmann Construction has been named the Construction Manager at Risk for the Norris Public Schools new Elementary building project.  A total of eight firms submitted proposals for the project while only three interviewed.  Hausmann Construction proudly supports Norris Public Schools and is scheduled to break ground on the new facility in March.   

October 2011

After 17 months of construction, the Hendricks Training Complex was officially dedicated Thursday night with more 200 invited guests and dignitaries attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony.   The 84,000-square foot facility adjacent to the Bob Devaney Sports Center is the new home for the men's and women's basketball programs, as well as the wrestling program. The two-level facility includes separate practice courts for the men's and women's basketball programs, as well as expanded locker rooms, player lounges, team rooms and offices.  The amenities inside the facility are top-of-the-line, as the main entrance features a two-story abstract net sculpture, as well as a granite fountain imported from China. The facility also features two video walls and 63 televisions throughout the building.

June 2011

Hausmann Construction crews keep progress going on the Bob Devaney Sports Center Addition.  The new facility is fully enclosed and interior work is underway with painting, ceramic tile and the gym floor being installed soon.  Exterior metal panels and the glass curtain wall are being installed as well on this exciting addition to the University of Nebraska Athletic Department.

April 2011

Bratney Companies of Des Moines Iowa has chosen Hausmann Construction as the construction manager for their Dow/Mycogen project in York, Nebraska.  Construction of the project is slated to finish in September.

April 2011

Ground was broken on Hausmann Construction’s newest Design/Build project located in South Lincoln, NE.  Tamarin Ridge Apartments will be a 180 unit apartment community complete with a clubhouse and pool for residents to enjoy.  Phase 1 of this project is slated to finish in November 2011.

The Great Plains Trail System along with Lincoln Parks and Recreation broke ground on the Jayne Snyder Trails Center on April 7th, 2011.  The trail center is nestled on the beautiful Antelope Valley Union Park Plaza in the heart of Lincoln.  Hausmann Construction is the proud General Contractor for both projects.

January 2011

Hausmann Construction has been selected as the Design Builder for the Plastics Companies Enterprises New Corporate Headquarters in Lincoln, NE.  This new facility will be the Worldwide Headquarters to the companies 14 locations in the United States, 1 China location and 1 EU location.

Fall 2010

Hausmann Construction recently started construction on Lincoln Public School’s newest P-5 Elementary school in Southeast Lincoln.  Designed by The Clark Enersen Partners,  Kloefkorn Elementary school allows for future growth off of the 72,000 sf building.  Construction is slated to be complete in time for the 2012 school year.
